Hotel is in a superb location. The Place de Vosges just round the corner with lovely Brasseries. The staff at the hotel where excellent and incredibly helpful. We will be back.

We've stayed here before and found the staff and accommodations to be excellent. Rooms are a tad small, but the hotel is perfectly located in the Marais neighborhood. Our shower hose broke on the first night, and because it was a weekend, it couldn't be repaired. We were given the opportunity to change rooms, which solved the problem.

The room was not very clean (dusty, lamp shades stained, bath tub dirty), there was wall paper peeling and the air grill by the front door was not fitted in properly. There was a broken glass with cigarette butts on the balcony and the radiator in the bathroom was not heating all the way to the top. The bathroom door latch did not work properly. The duvet on the bed was made up of two sheets that were folded around 3 or 4 thinner duvets. The weather was cold but the room was stifling and thermostat on the radiator did not seem to cool - could only manage on or off. Wardorobe (could hardly be called a wardrobe) was minute! I work in the hotel industy and perhaps I am being a bit too critical, but the standard of the room was poor and was not value for money. The rest of the hotel is lovely and even though I did not have breakfast the breakfast room and reception were decorated to a high standard. Also the bed in the room was extremely comfortable.
