The Sacre-Coeur basilic stands on the top of the Butte Montmartre on the north side of Paris. Built with white stones in a Roman-Byzantine style and a façade constructed in the image of Romanesque churches, the basilica was officially opened in 1889.
The Sacré-Coeur basilic is an inevitable step in your visit of Paris. First because you will discover a fabulous architecture, but also for the extraordinary view of Paris offered from the top of the Butte Montmartre.
If hotels suggested by Heart of Paris Hotels are more likely in the heart of the French Capitale, you can anyway join Montmartre and the Sacre-Coeur basilic within a few minutes from some of them.
