The charming 3 star hotel Saint-Paul Rive Gauche is a demeure of the XVIIth Century, ideally located in the heart of Paris close to numerous sights and museums.
It is getting on for four centuries that its walls have breathed the very spirit of the Latin Quarter between the Sorbonne and the Luxembourg gardens. It is owned by the 4th generation of the same family of hoteliers who strive to maintain the high standards of this bijou dwelling.

While Sputnik, the house cat, sleeps with one eye, we can discover near the reception desk a small patio backing onto a wall built on the foundations of the ancient Philippe Auguste defensive wall. Offering us a little touch of nature, it contains two magnificent Anduze vases with flowers and decorative laurel trees.

The buffet breakfast in served in a delightful vaulted breakfast room.

Rooms

The decorator has imprinted his own distinctive style in each of the 31 rooms and suites of the Saint-Paul Rive Gauche hotel.

None is identical to another. Some have four-poster beds, one has a twinkling star ceiling and a Jacuzzi and another, a “trompe- l’oeil” painting.

All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with double glazing windows.

“Standard” and “classic” rooms have double beds and look out onto the courtyard. The larger “superior” rooms mostly overlook the street Monsieur le Prince. Also available: triples and two others which can accommodate up to four guests, one being a duplex ideal for families.

We had a wonderful stay over our recent four days in Paris. Although the weather was unseasonably cool, we were able to get out and walk, enjoy the sights and experience a number of the side walk cafes. The hotel was ideally located for our stay in Paris and we'd stay again in the future.
