In an Haussmannian building standing in the heart of the Latin quarter of Paris, the hotel Saint Jacques takes you in the Parisian life of the Belle Epoque with a decoration inspired by the Art Nouveau and the artist Toulouse-Lautrec.

The Latin quarter is the place for poets, artists and studiants. It is one of the former quarters of Paris, both rich in history and always up to date for last trends.

Naturally, the Saint Jacques hotel has decided to maintain the ambiance which made the charm of Paris while offering a modern comfort. It is not a coincidence if the movie "Charade" with Cary Grant and Audrey Hupburn was shoot in this hotel.

The lounge bar "Toulouse Lautrec" is an ideal place to rest and drink a glass of champagne or absinthe. In the bookcase, the oldest books date from the end of the 18th Century. At the reception desk where you get all information you need and order reservations for your visits in Paris (sightseeing, restaurant, cabaret,…) is in the same atmosphere.

In the breakfast room, a fresco takes you in the lively times of the cabarets while the piano plays music. The cold buffet breakfast includes hot drinks, fresh orange juice, pastries, breads, cheese, cooked pork meats and cereals. Hot dishes can be ordered with extra charge.

Rooms

The hotel Saint Jacques offers 36 rooms on 6 floors including one room for disable persons. The elevator stops at the 5th floor. Most of rooms are on the facade with a balcony.

All rooms are equipped with double glazing windows and individual air-conditioning, wardrobe, small desk, flat screen tv with international channels, direct dial phone, wireless internet access free of charge, dataport and private safe.

Bathrooms have a shower, washbasin, mirror for making-up, bathroom scales, hair dryer, towel dryer and wc.

Here again, the door of the room, freco on walls, mouldings on ceiling but also furniture remember the past period of La Belle Epoque.
