The Relais Hotel du Vieux Paris is an historic hotel where poets such as Burroughs gave rise to the Beat Generation. Today, the hotel still have the charm of this time with exposed stones and beams while upgrading to a 4 star category. It is of course located in the historical quarter of Saint-Germain-des-Pres on the left bank of Paris close to the Seine river and Saint-Michel place, a few minutes walk to Notre-Dame cathedral, Louvre and Orsay museums, the Luxembourg Garden or cafes, restaurants and chic shopping streets of Saint-Germain.

At the Relais Hotel du Vieux Paris, you don't need any car or other transports. The location of the hotel offers thousands places to discover and visit at a walking distance.

Decoration is different in every room but you will find in all of them the same facilities and atmosphere of the past times with wall-fabric, antique furniture, exposed beams and marble bathrooms.

Superior rooms (13sqm) also overlook the street and are equipped with a bathtub.

Executive Rooms overlook the street. They are larger than single, superior and deluxe rooms (17sqm) with a sitting corner and a bathtub.

Suites with their 25 sqm offer a living room (with free couch for child under 12 years old) and a king size bed (or 2 single beds). They are equipped with a jaccuzi and overlook the garden.

Transportation

You have a large choice of transportation around the hotel with the advantage to have none in the small street of the hotel.

Metro station "Saint Michel" (line 4) 150 metres. Direct to the Forum des Halles, Montparnasse quarter and railway station (TGV Atlantique) and Gare de l'Est railway station (TGV Est)

Train RER B and C station "Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame" at 150 metres. Access to airports and Orsay museum, Eiffel Tower, Palais des Congres Porte Maillot, Gare du Nord railway station (Thalys and Eurostar) and the Stade de France stadium.

Buses:
Line 24 (100 metres from the hotel) Direct to Orsay museum, Gare de Lyon, Gare d'Austerlitz and Gare Saint Lazare railway stations.
Line 27 (100 metres from the hotel) Direct to Louvre museum, Opera house, Luxembourg garden and Place d'Italie
Line 38 (150 metres from the hotel) Direct to Gare de l'Est (TGV Est) and Gare du Nord (Eurostar, Thalys) railway stations
Line 96 (150 metres from the hotel) Direct to Montparnasse or the Marais quarter.
Line 85 (150 metres from the hotel) Direct to Luxembourg garden, Chatelet and butte Montmartre with Sacre-Coeur Basilic and Place du Tertre.

Access from Roissy CDG airport : Taxi or airport shuttle or train RER B direct to "Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame" station 150 metres from the hotel.

Access from Orly airport : Taxi or airport shutlle or Orlyval shuttle to "Antony" station then train RER B to "Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame" station 150 metres from the hotel. Also possible to take a shuttle from the airport to station "Pont de Rungis Aeroport d'Orly" then RER C to "Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame" station 150 metres from the hotel.

Indoor public parking place Saint André des Arts 200 metres from the hotel.
