Notre-Dame de Paris and Le Chatelet are the very heart of Paris. On the other bank of the Seine, on the south side, you are in the Latin quarter, the place of students where you can find prestigious schools and university Pantheon Sorbonne. You will also find here numerous libraries, cafes and restaurants.
On the north side of the Ile de la Cite, the district of Chatelet les Halles is the place of Paris City House and George Pompidou center but it also very known for all shops and boutiques that you can find at the Forum des Halles or along the Rivoli street and all streets around.
