Sunset - Sunside Jazz Club

Standing in the heart of Paris, between the Forum des Halles and Centre Georges Pompidou, the Sunset Jazz Club is the first club to open its doors Rue des Lombards. Formely a trendy american bar, on the request of musicians, the basement with its vaulted rooms becomes in 1983 a jazz club. Year after year, it welcomes local jazzmen and world stars of jazz. In 2001, the part of restaurant that was maintained is replaced by the Sunside. Now, Sunset is dedicated to electric jazz, magnet jazz and world music while Sunside is devoted to acoustic jazz.
