Musée de la Poupée in the Beaubourg quarter is a wonderful haven for
doll enthusiasts of all ages. Only a short walk from the Rambuteau metro

private doll museum before taking the metro directly to the Châtelet

Musée de la Poupée houses a large collection of dolls in chronological
order from the 1800s until now. Located in the quiet Impasse Berthaud in
district of Paris, admire meticulously-crafted scale model dollhouse
furniture and accessories as well as the collection of toys that exist
from each period. Past exhibition themes include “Poupées – Made in
Italy” featuring dolls and toys from 1880 to 1979, and “Baby Boom 2 –
French Dolls” highlighting collections from 1960 to 1979. The museum
also holds activities for children and adults. For children, popular
workshops include making dolls and doll clothing. Adults enjoy several
themed seminars held regularly at the museum.
