d'Acclimatation is located in Bois de Boulogne, one of the biggest
wooded areas in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It was first called
the Paris Zoo when it was opened by Napoléon III in 1860. Today, Jardin
d'Acclimatation is 20 hectares of fun and amusement for children of all
ages. An amusement park, cultural and nature activities keep children
and adults thoroughly occupied all day long.
Swingsets and large hammacs are available right at
the entrance of Jardin d'Acclimatation. Young children and even babies
are able to do gym
activities such as walking across a bridge and hopping from one step to
another. A few steps further,
The Little Train and The Enchanted River welcome adults and children for
a slow gentle promenade through the park by train and boat.
attractions like carrousel and amusement rides, miniature roller
coasters and zip-lines grace every sidewalk along the park. A small zoo
and an aviary of 200 birds are located in the center of Jardin
d'Acclimatation. For an additional fee, children are also able to take
poney rides along a special path.

available at Jardin d'Acclimatation, children can watch the well-known
Guignol puppets in a spectacle* by Le Théâtre de Guignol. Tired visitors
may relax on the lush green fields under the cool shade of trees while
their children continue playing at one of the open-air playgrounds
available in the park.
d'Acclimatation is open every day, including public holidays, from 10
a.m. to 7 p.m. (April to September) and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (October to
March). Entrance fee for adults and children above three years old is 3
euros*. Visitors are required to purchase a booklet of tickets to access
the games available in the amusement park.
