Very close to the lively atmosphere of the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saint-Germain des Prés and Montparnasse, the charming air conditioned Hotel des Mines has been renovated recently in a contemporary style.

A continental breakfast is served from 7h00 to 10h00 on the ground floor. With no supplement you can also enjoy a cold buffet. Breakfast can also be served in your bedroom without extra charge from 8h00 to 10h00.

After a hard day spent in Paris, you will be able to relax in our lobby bar.

The reception desk is open 24 hours a day. A fax, a photocopy service, individual safes and a luggage room are at your disposal. A paying Internet terminal is available near the reception.

Roissy CDG airport : 27 km - 16 miles. Direct access with train RER B.
Orly airport : 17 km - 11 miles. Access with train RER B. Change station "Antony" and take the Orlyval shuttle.
You can also access the airport with a taxi or an airport shuttle company

We loved out stay here and would return. Our room was a triple on the 4th floor, overlooking the street. We loved the sounds of being in the city: the traffic (well muted at night by double windows) and the low rumble of the metro. Our room was large, with a large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable though the pillows were rather thin. We found additional pillows on the closet shelf and that helped considerably. The staff were uniformly pleasant and helpful. The metro stations are within a short distance. One nice thing here is that if you take the RER from Charles de Gaulle, you won\'t have to make a connection to reach this hotel, as Luxembourg is one of the stops. (Not having to make connections is a rarity when traveling the Paris metro.) The hotel is also within a short walking distance for shopping, dining, and just visiting the neighborhoods and tourist attractions. The lower rating for cleanliness is because of some mold stains in the bathroom, along a wall and in the shower corners. One of us never even noticed, and the other considered it normal. But if you are sensitive this might be a consideration. Otherwise our room and bath were spotless, as was all of the facility.

I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the accommodations and enjoyed my stay there. There were two people at the desk who were not friendly and didn\'t look very happy to be there. The woman serving breakfast was lovely, the maids did a great job and there was one gentleman at the front desk (didn\'t get his name but he was working at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11th) who was very helpful. I would stay here again.
