Very enjoyable stay will definatly recommend and will come back, Spucnik the cat was a great addition and comforting when returning from a long wet day sight seeing! great place to stay

Loved Sputnik the cat in Reception. Very courteous and professional staff.
The room was a bit small with old fittings, but bathroom was completely modern

The hotel is within walking distant to so many sites as well as small quaint shops and galleries. The staff and service are excellent and very helpful. Sputnik, the house pet, is a very welcoming addition. I definitely would stay there again....great location!

We enjoyed our stay at the Saint Paul Rive Gauche. The location was fantasic, just a short stroll from the lively Latin Quarter where you are spoilt for choice for places to eat and drink.
Although you have two metro stations within a 5 minute walk we tended to go everywhere on foot. Notre Dame is a short walk as is the Louvre, and all the sights and sounds of central Paris are very much on the doorstep.
The hotel was clean and tidy and the reception staff were very pleasant. Mr Sputnik the cat likes to lie on the reception desk so if you are allergic or have a cat phobia this isn't the place for you!!!
Our room was small but clean and well serviced. We had fresh towels and toiletries daily and the shower had good water pressure.
If you are a light sleeper and like to have a lie in, you might wish to ask for a room at the front of the hotel. The courtyard for one of the nearby colleges is at the back and the noise of the basketball players may disturb you early in the morning as they like to play most days between 8am and 10am... It didn't bother us, and given that this hotel is so quiet in every other way, it had a certain appeal about it. I mention it because some people always like something to moan about.... if you are that way inclined, this would probably be it!!!
I would recommend this hotel to anyone for a short break in Paris.

Very friendly staff - my room was quiet and spotless. Was a bit warm at night so I had to leave the window wide open - a fan in the room would be helpful. I always enjoy staying here and love the cat on the desk.

Lighting is bedroom very poor. Part of the enjoyment of a holiday for us is reading in bed - no chance of doing that with such poor lighting .
Towels should have been larger.
