The Ecole Centrale hotel offers 21 sound-proofed, air-conditioned and renovated rooms in the heart Paris, in the Marais area, a stone's throw from Arts et Metiers, Carnavalet and Picasso museums.

Our staff are available 24 hours a day to give you any information or advice you may require to make the most of your stay in Paris. Next to the reception desk you can read or relax in our Indonesian lounge.

A buffet breakfast is available from 7 to 10 a.m. The buffet is composed of fresh mini pastries and fresh bread, cereal, cakes, orange juice, eggs, cheese and yoghurts, fresh seasonal fruit and dried fruit, apple purée, jam and honey, and a choice of coffee, tea, milk or hot chocolate to drink.

The wireless internet connection ( wifi ) is available in all the hotel free of charge.

The Ecole Centrale Hotel has 21 sound-proofed and air-conditionned rooms, all renovated.

Some rooms have the charm of exposed beams; and all rooms have a bathroom with bath, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries.

All our rooms have a mini-bar, satellite TV, Canal plus channel and an individual safe.

A deluxe room is also available on the top floor, with a small living room and a bath / Jacuzzi.

Transportation

The Ecole Centrale hotel is situated on the edge of the Marais quarter, a stone’s throw from the Museum Arts et Métiers, close to the Carnavalet and Picasso museums and just a short walk from the Pompidou centre.

Metro station : "Arts et Metiers" 20 metres or "Reaumur Sebastopol" 200 metres
Access from Roissy CDG airport : Taxi or Train RER B and stop station "Chatelet les Halles" then metro line 11 to "Arts et Metiers".
Access from Orly airport : Taxi or Orlyval shuttle then train RER B to "Chatelet Les Halles" station then metro line 11 to "Arts et Metiers".

Reception staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms are on the small side but are clean with great value. Bed was very comfortable - firm and big. Tucked away off of main street so very quiet. Location was 6 euro taxi to Notre Dame and other attractions. A bit more for others. Walking to Notre is a brisk 20 minute walk. Or, just outside of Metro station so easy access to just about anywhere. Many good cafes near by - our favorite was Absynth.

A great little hotel in the vibrant heart of Paris, right next to a Metro stop and so close to the heartbeat of the city. We enjoyed our stay and although understated, this is truly value for money!!! We will undoubtedly go back! Christiaan and Christopher (South Africa)
