You will be delighted by the charm of this small place of Paris right in the heart of the French capital but which looks like a village. With its small streets where boutiques, restaurants and bars follow one other, this quarter is lively but quiet anyway as cars can't access.

The hotel stands only 200 metres away from the Forum des Halles and its boutiques, 250 metres from the Place du Chatelet, 400 metres from the Centre National d'Art et de Culture Gorges Pompidou (Beaubourg), 500 metres from the City House and around half a mile from Notre Dame cathedral or the entrance of the Louvre museum.

For you jazzy evenings, the Sunset club is 50 metres away only and you will find the club Duc Des Lombards 100 metres away. If you walk 400 metres, you will also access the famous Marais quarter.

The hotel itself presents a façade of stones with a large picture window and marble columns bringing light in the lounge and reception of the ground floor. Indoor, a light marble dominates on the floor and the columns while the walls, tastefully decorated show some stones of the building.

The breakfast can be served in your room or taken in a stoned vaulted room.  It is a buffet breakfast with usual meats such as hot drinks, fruit juices, bread, pastries, butter, jam but also fresh fruits, yogurts, eggs, cheese, fresh orange juice and

Rooms

The Hotel Des Ducs d'Anjou offers 37 guest rooms with air conditioning and double glazed windows.

Corridors to access rooms offers a nice decoration with stars on the carpet and circles on wallpaper.

Rooms are not very large which is usual in Paris but are tastefully decorated with warm and restful colors. Rooms overlooking the pedestrian street are Superior Rooms because they offer a nice view on the place. Their bathrooms are equipped with bath or shower. Other rooms on the backside of the hotel are Standard Rooms despite they are usually larger than Superior rooms.

All rooms of the hotel are equipped with a mini bar, flat screen TV with Canal+ and international channels, telephone, wardrobe, small desk with chair. Bedding is usually large and sometimes king size. In this case, it can be modified into twin beds. Bathrooms offer bath or shower, washbasin, hair dryer, towel dryer and wc.

Superior rooms at the street side are really small! Being just by myself and being rather "petite" it was no problem but there's not even space to put a (small) suitcase away and for 2 persons it's very very tiny. At the other hand a very quiet hotel at a perfect location. Even at street side no noice at all in the morning. Nice hotel staff but the evening reception holder is far but respresentative.
