I very much enjoyed my stay at Vendome Saint Germaine. The stqff was very accomodating. The rooms were very clean and linens changed regularly. The location was also fairly central, only a 10 minute walk to Notre Dame.

Clean and comfortable in the heart of Paris. Can walk to everything. Great value in such a pricey town! Lack of AC could be a minus in the hotter months but the rooms are airy and have nice fans which many be the norm for true Parisians. Would recommend.

The room we had was tiny! It was clean but devoid of any facilities such as an iron. The location was good though and it was very close to the Cardinal Lemoine Metro Station.

We found the hotel very clean and tidy, room was quite small but we were only using it as a base as we were out all the time sightseeing. It proved to be very good value for money.
The only complaint we had which wasn't the hotels fault, were the inconsiderate others who were also staying at the hotel who let doors slam and were just generally very noisy in their room late at night.
We will definately think about staying here the next time we come back to Paris :o)

I had asked the internet site if I could book parking for the night and was told simply to ask the receptionist. After arriving at 20.15 we were told there were no spaces. It took three hours to find a place. This was after having travelled 700 kilometres, and taking 90 minutes to get through Paris.
Could you explain what went wrong? I really like Paris but this experience puts me off coming. The receptionist had no answer.

we were lucky because we got a larger room than booked, very clean and quiet. Rooms were updated and warm. We were overall very happy with this hotel.

The Vendome Saint Germain is a great spot to base your stay in Paris. It was clean with lots of hot water. The staff was helpful and pleasant. We didn't do the breakfast at the hotel. There are plenty of options in the area to have either a quick bite or a full meal. The room was big enough for us and 3 big suitcases plus 2 carry-on size. It was at the back so the window faced the courtyard and scaffolding. I slept very well in the bed, and the room was quiet. We did hear people in another room one night. The access to the Metro was great. Go to the Place Monge for the daily morning market. It has food, gifts, clothing and is a new experience if you are like us and don't have this type of thing back home. I also went shopping in the area stores. I thought it was a charming hotel in a great location. Let's face it, your experience staying in any hotel has a lot to do with your expectations. I had looked at a couple more expensive hotels in the area. For the price difference, this was our best choice. I would stay here again.

The staff employed in this establishment should not be behind a reception desk. Their rudeness spoilt an otherwise pleasant hotel in a terriffic location.

The hotel acted as a great base to explore all the sights of this beautiful city. Staff were freindly and very accomodating. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in the Latin Quarter.
