Although small (room 11) it provided us with everything we needed. The bathroom was excellent and we appreciated the shower which provided a good supply of hot water at the end of days tramping round.

Incredibly good location, right in the heart of 6e, minutes from everything. Concierges were very helpful with directions. Typically small room but quite comfortable, nice bathroom.

We continue to return to this excellent hotel, year after year, for the wonderful service and truly French atmosphere it offers, together with the caring attention that makes us feel so welcome each time we visit.

My only disappointment was in the Heart of Paris Hotel website activities. You promoted a sightseeing cruise to be provided via email and never delivered upon your commitment. The hotel we stayed in had a great atmosphere with a great location.
Note : On 07/21/2010 , an answer to this review was made by Heart of Paris Hotels indicating that the voucher for sightseeing cruise was sent on due time to the e-mail address given by the guest. It is a pity the guest did not advise quickly Heart of Paris Hotels as the voucher can be sent on demand if necessary. Hundreds customers enjoyed this sightseeing cruise offered during summer.

Wonderful location in the heart of the Left Bank. It is a nice, quiet hotel with charming ambience. The location is fantastic: The cafe life just outside the door. We also found the location convenient because it is very close to the metro, which makes exploring Paris quite convenient; we also found that the proximity of the metro made it easy for us to get to and from Charles de Gaulle airport. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful. Be prepared for rooms smaller than the typical American hotel. We'd gladly return to this wonderful little hotel next time we go to Paris.

We had a perfect stay at the Saint Germain Des Pres.

We loved our room and the location and neighborhood were just what we were looking for. Despite very busy and vibrant surroundings, our room was very cozy and quiet. Richard and Dominique at the front desk were very friendly and extremely helpful. We hope to be able to stay here again on our next visit to Paris and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Hotel simpático y tranquilo. Muy bien situado a dos pasos de varios metros y en un barrio muy animado . La habitación faltaba de luz y el único enchufe estaba detrás del bar lo que no es muy práctico, ¡hay que ponerse a cuatro patas para enchufar teléfono o ordenador ¡

I was extremely pleased with my stay. Solo traveler, 4 day stay. Room was well appointed. Bath was new. Decor was lovely. Would be great for 2 people. Richard, at the desk, especially was kind and helpful. It is so close to the Metro, and to so much, that I would love to stay again soon.

Thank you,my 8yr old son and I had for a wonderful stay! The hotel is in an excellent position for all the places most visitors want to see on a short visit, also mins from famous restaurants Deux Magots and Cafe de Flore.Looking forward to our next visit soon!

I loved staying in this area of Paris. The hotel was extremely cosy. Even though there was not breakfast included, it was available. However it was actually more fun to go out for a cafe and croissant. Likewise, even though there was no bar/ restaurant, it mattered little because there was an abundance of options in the area. Ideal for a busy traveller to come back to after a hard day exploring. The staff were lovely and always helpful when I needed assistance with travel, translation, directions etc.. Highly reccomend for a true Parisien experience!

I couldn't recommend this little hotel highly enough. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location was excellent for all the major tourist attractions, metro and lovely cafes. The room although typically small for Paris was spotless and comfortable.
