I booked this hotel as a 18th birthday gift for my son and partner. I was very disapointed when he returned and informed me that the aircon was not working properly the tv stopped working they had trouble conecting to the internet and that they were rudely awoken each morning by maids talking loudly outside there bedroom door i do not feel this was good enough even for a 3* hotel. I would like this to be forwarded to the hotel manager.

The Hotel was absoluetly in the centre of the site seeing tourist area. Just a walk to the Luvre and other galleries and main attractions. Really easy to get your bearings of this beautiful city. The night watchman at the hotel was always so helpful in giving directions or finding information re: Paris tours, internet cafe and generally a friendly face who wanted to hear of your adventures when you've come back to the hotel after a tiring, but wonderful adventurous day. Breakfast could be included for the price you pay.

A part la situation remarquable de cet hôtel, l'insonorisation est désastreuse la déco spartiate date, crépi jaunâtre au mur , les draps troués et des cheveux parsèment la salle de bain et le tapis feutre servant de moquette....
Pour 50 euros de plus, l'hôtel Régina,à deux pas, vous accueille avec un bien meilleur standing...

Nous sommes désolés du mécontentement de nos clients qui n’ont fait aucune remarque lors de leur séjour ce qui nous aurait permis de réagir si leurs remarques s'étaient étonnement avérées fondées. En ce qui concerne la décoration, non pas crépi au mur mais peinture cirée, non pas tapis feutre mais moquette, elle avait été choisie lorsque l’hôtel a été entièrement rénové pour une question d’hygiène, d’odeur etc. Il est certain que l’hôtel REGINA, hôtel 4 étoiles luxe de 120 chambres et de décoration ancienne et traditionnelle n’a rien à voir avec l’hôtel du CONTINENT, hôtel 3 étoiles de 26 chambres. Tout dépend de ce qu'on recherche et à quel prix.

This hotel has a FABULOUS location and because of that (plus the measures it takes to assure patron safety), I would highly recommend it. On the debit side, I wish the television coverage was a little more extensive. However, that's minor considering its placement.

I am a business traveller and have used this hotel for a three day stay in Paris. It is good value and well located for anyone that needs to do business in the 1st arrondissment. Access to metro is very easy and even though there is no gym you can go running in the jardin de tuillieries. The best is that it is located in a quite street. Perfect and I will go back to it.

Front desk staff was very helpful and took care of our reservations without any problems; location is excellent - walking distance to Louvre, Champs Elysee, Place du Concorde, and Musee du Orsay. Not a lot of amenities but this is not an issue with hotel's proximity to restaurants, bistros, bars and clubs. Quiet street - off the beaten path which was nice.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. Located in the heart of all the tourist attractions in a generally safe, albeit expensive, area, it is perfect for tourists for a short stay. A few things to consider include no fitness center and very limited amenities, but you walk so much in Paris, you almost don't need a fitness center. The room has the bare basics such as a bed, small computer-sized tv screen, phone and a shower. Needs a couple more pillows! Bring your own alarm clock, unless you want to try wake up calls. An in-room safe is provided as well as a luggage rack. Wi-fi is included in the price of your room...nice feature, but if I wanted to print anything (like boarding passes), you need to ask front desk for assistance. It is a small hotel with less than 30 rooms and a bit on the older side but still in generally good condition for its age. Some paint chipping on walls and plumbing is as to be expected in an older building; you can hear when someone upstairs is flushing the toilet or showering very clearly. Otherwise, staff is generally friendly and helpful and speak English fairly well. Expect to leave your key at the reception daily. I had problems with the shuttle showing up on time for my departure to the airport, but the hotel staff quickly found a taxi (twice the price of a shuttle, unfortunately) for me so I could make my flight. Rooms in Paris are small in hotels in general, so don't expect a lot of space, but enough to drop your bags somewhere and a place to sleep and shower in this hotel. The hotel staff were helpful in giving directions and helping make reservations for any tours. A cultural difference bw US expectations and France: expect your room to be cleaned daily even if you leave your 'do not disturb' sign on your door. Otherwise, tell the front desk you don't want it to be cleaned that day. They clean daily otherwise. Good hotel in general and the staff were helpful.

We were warmly greeted. We arrived early in the morning and the room was not ready yet. The lady behind the desk stored our luggage in a back closet so that we could go see Paris and did not have to wait. We were very satisfied.

We had room 34 which was great. The hotel is located a block away from Rue de Rivoli so you have all the convenience of being close to a lot of the sights without the noise. The staff was helpful and our room was clean. There are many cafes and restaurants in the area that are superb. Would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming renovated hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the room size - quite spacious by European standards. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and their grasp of the English language was much appreciated. The location was brilliant, close to Louvre, Concorde and metro. Overall a very pleasant stay and would recommend highly.

This was a great choice for us with quick access to the Rue de Rivoli, Rue St Honore, the Louvre, Opera and Le Madeleine. Very friendly and helpful staff. No frills but great value given it's prime location. Would happily rebook for our next visit.

Breakfast served until 10.00 lacked variety and choice was limited for those wishing to eat later as food was not replenished.
We were not at first allocated the twin bed superior room that was booked until this was pointed out to receptionist.

Thank you to the wonderful staff for their friendliness and their help during my stay. The hotel was in a perfect location - close to the gardens and the museums - and shopping all within walking distance. I would certainly stay there again.

The staff made us welcome and were very helpful as this was our first visit to Paris. The hotel was ideally situated for the main sights and although the hotel has no restaurant or bar there are plenty of cafes etc within easy walking distance. Would definately stay again.

The room is small, but clean.
This hotel is a 3 stars and that\'s what you get, BUT in the heart of Paris at walking distance of Louvre, Place Vendome, Orsay, Concorde, Champs Elyses, etc... those hotels are RARE and therefore a gem.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Du Continent Hotel. The location is excellent. I was impressed with how professional the staff were. The bathroom was larger than most hotels I have stayed at in Europe. The room was clean and had been updated.

I will stay there the next time I visit Paris.

iT WAS A GREAT LOCATION TO STAY. jUST 2 BLOCKS FROM THE lOUVRE. i WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN AND RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE GOING TO pARIS. i FOUND THE BREAKFAST VERY PRICEY FOR WHAT YOU RECEIVED. fOUND A LOCALPLACE AND ATE THERE.
